Who will pay my costs?
In most cases your opponent or their insurance company will pay your costs in addition to the compensation you agree or are awarded. We make no deduction or charge from the compensation you are awarded. We are paid a fee by the solicitors to whom we refer your claim. This is an arrangement we have with our panel solicitors and this charge will not be passed to you.

How long will it take?
This is dependant on the severity of your injuries and how long it takes you to make a recovery. However, settlement times will vary and depend on the extent of the injury sustained and the length of recovery.

Will I have to go to Court?
Our panel solicitors will aim to settle your claim out of Court provided that your compensation is not jeopardised. However, there are occasions when it will be necessary to issue Court Proceedings to recover compensation. The majority of cases settle out of Court even if legal Proceedings are commenced.

How much will I get?
This depends on the extent of your injuries and whether you have made a full recovery or not. Your solicitors will advise you about the amount of compensation you may receive. In addition to your injuries you may be able to recover compensation for your lost wages if as a result of the accident.

*Other costs may be payable. Our panel solicitors will advise you further about the “no win – no fee” arrangement. Subject to your compliance with the terms of the agreement you will not have to pay your solicitor any costs if you lose. You may be responsible for their disbursements i.e. the cost of medical records, a medical report and court fees but your solicitor will advice how you can take out insurance to cover you in respect of your own disbursements and your opponent’s costs. If you win your opponent (usually their insurer) will normally pay all your costs.
